Adept has almost 100 years of collective experience in the Fire Safety environment.
Herewith a brief outline of the company experience in the Fire Safety field.

1. RONNIE CLOETE
Ronnie started his career in the Fire and Emergency services in 1966. He was the Fire Chief at the Roodepoort Emergency services from 1981-1997.
He is also a past president for the South African Emergency Services Institute, Past Chairperson of the Standards committee of the fire services board and past member of the Fire Services advisory committee Gauteng Province.
He was appointed as expert witness in several cases in the High court. Ronnie studied at the South African Fire Services Institute, and received several awards.

2. ALWYN DE KLERK
Alwyn started working as a fireman in Westonaria in 1993. He moved to Roodepoort Fire department in 1994, where he held a Platoon Commander rank. In 2005 he spend a year working for a company contracted to the United Nations as Fire Officer on an airport in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
From 2006 he has been working as a Fire Consultant where he has consulted on an array of different types of buildings and Fire Safety related matters.
He studied at The South African Fire Services Institute.

3. RIAAN CLOETE
Riaan started at the Roodepoort Fire Department in 1993 and moved over to the City of Johannesburg where he held the rank of Platoon Commander. He did several courses including Fire Investigation.
Riaan also was the co-founder of RIGA K9 Search and Rescue, a non-profit search and rescue organisation that assist local authorities in wilderness and disaster search and rescue with the aid of search dogs.
He studied at the Institute of Fire Engineers.

4. NEELS DE KLERK
Neels commenced his first employment within the fire services in 1990 at the Roodepoort Fire Department. He held the rank of Platoon Commander from 1993 to 2006 as an Operational Officer. In 2007 he was appointed Station Commander in the Public Education Division in Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (JEMS) and in that same year voted as the employee of the year at JEMS. Neels continued his employment at the Breede Valley Fire and Rescue Services in 2013 as a Fire Safety Inspector responsible for all functions within the Fire Inspectorate Division.
He studied at the Pretoria Technicon (Tshwane University of Technology) and acquired a National Diploma in Fire Technology in 1993.

5. FRANZOA DE KLERK
Franzoa is the youngest member of the Adept team. He is working as a junior draughtsman and IT problem solver. Franzoa matriculated in 2016 and is an apprentice Fire Consultant.
